Weather On Your Website
I used to work for The Weather Channel. They have some nice tools available to customers that allow them to keep track of weather either in their local area or in other locations around the world. One of these tools is Weather On Your Website (WOW). WOW allows users to create customizeable "modules" that can be placed on their websites to provide weather information to their visitors.
WOW was the first project I worked on as a member of The Weather Channel Interactive team. I have created a sample module which you can see below. Every visit to this page (and any corresponding page you might create on your own site) pulls the current conditions for the location defined in the module.
You can put multiple modules on the same page, even modules of different types and sizes. Customizeable layouts, colors, images, etc. are all possible. If you would like to place Weather On Your Website modules on your own website, please visit weather.com for more information.
